What must the length of a rectangle be if the with is 12 inches and the perimeter is at least 180 inches? :

Solution :-

Given : Perimeter of a rectangle = 180 inches.

Breadth = 12 inches

We know that,

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(Length + Breadth) sq. units

=> 180 = 2(Length + 12)

=> 180/2 = Length + 12

=> 90 - 12 = Length = 78

Hence,

Length of the rectangle = 78 inches
