Heya ✋

Let see your answer !!!

Let the required number to be added be x. Then ,

according to question,

- 5/8 + x = - 3/2

=> - 5 + 8x/8 = - 3/2

=> - 5 + 8x = 8 × (-3)/2

=> - 5 + 8x = - 12

=> 8x = - 12 + 5

=> 8x = - 7

=> x = -7/8

Hence , -7/8 must be added to -5/8 to get -3/2.

Thanks :)))

Let x should be added,

-5/8 + x = -3/2

x = -3/2 +5/8

x = (-12+5)/8

x = -7/8

Now,

-7/8 should be added.

I hope this will help you
