Answer:

One famous north Indian is known to have said that Tamil Nadu is an island within India. I really don’t know what he actually meant to say, but it is evident that the Tamils are different from other Indians.

Significantly Tamil Nadu is way ahead of the rest of the country — Tamils seek to maintain diversity, fight for guarding their culture, language and heritage and even don’t hesitate to show their Tamil nationalism.

North Indians don’t particularly like the ways in which Tamils guard their unique identity; they want Tamils to give up their uniqueness and take to Hindustani culture of north-west India. This is impossible.
