Let the no. be x

Solution:-

 \frac{8}{14}  + x =  \frac{ - 2}{7}

x =  \frac{ - 2}{7}  -  \frac{8}{14}

x =  \frac{ - 4 - 8}{14}  =  \frac{ - 12}{14}  =  \frac{ - 6}{7} ans
