 Let \: the \: number = x

/* According to the problem given */

 x \:is \: increased\: by \: 130\% = 69

 \implies x\Big(\frac{ 100+ 130}{100}\Big) = 69

 \implies x \times \frac{230}{100} = 69

 \implies x = 69 \times \frac{100}{230}

 \implies x = 3 \times 10

 \implies x = 30

Therefore.,

R = 30 .

Solution :-

  • Let the number be "R" .

According to question,

=> R is increased by 130% = 69

=> R + 130/100 + 1 = 69

=> R + 100 + 130 / 100 = 69

=> R + 230/100 = 69

=> R = 69 × 100/230

=> R = 3 × 10

=> R = 30 .
