What number is required for special majority in lok sabha if present members are 300??
do not say 2/3rd or something like this i but i want to know the exact figure, becuz 50% of 543 is 272 and 2/3rd of present members(300) is 200. so how many votes are required for special majority.???

⚡Ordinary bills require only a simple majority. For example, in the Lok Sabha, out of the total strength of 545, suppose 45 were absent and 100 abstained from voting. This means, only 300 members were present and voting. In this case, the simple majority needed is 151 (50% + 1).
