6 ⅗ = 33/5

33/5 + x = 15

15 - 33/5 = x

75/3 - 33/5 = x (LCM)

42/5 = x

42/5 answer

Solution

The unknown value be 'x'.

\implies6 \frac{3}{5}  + x = 15

\implies \: x = 15 - 6 \frac{3}{5}

\implies \: x = 15 -  \frac{33}{5}

LCM=5

\implies \: x =  \frac{75}{5}  -  \frac{33}{5}

\implies \: x =  \frac{75 - 33}{5}

\implies \: x =  \frac{42}{5}

Hope it helps you...
