X = -5/7 +1

[ Adding Given Number with unknown Variable Number i.e x ]

↪ x + ( - 1 ) = -5/7

↪ x - 1 = - 5/7

↪ x = - 5/7 + 1

↪ x = (-5 + 7)/7

↪ x = 2/7

Value of x is 2/7 .

Therefore, 2/7 is that number should be added to - 1 so as to get -5/7.
