The given question we have to find the number that should be added to the expression to get a fractional number.

The given expression is

 \frac{2}{3}  +  \frac{3}{5}  + x =  \frac{ - 1}{6}

we have to find the value of x.

The value in the right side is move on to the left with the change in the signature.

Therefore, we have

 \frac{2}{3}  +  \frac{3}{5}  +  \frac{1}{6}  =  - x

we have to take the LCM for the given expression.

The LCM is 30.

so on making the denominator equal to 60 we have to multiply all terms with certain numbers.

 (\frac{2}{3}  \times 10)  + ( \frac{3}{5}  \times 6) + ( \frac{1}{6}  \times 5)  =  -  x

on multiplying with these numbers we get

 \frac{(20 + 18 + 5)}{30}  =  - x

 \frac{43}{30}  =  - x

x =  \frac{ - 43}{30}

Therefore, the value of x is

 \frac{ - 43}{30}

we can also verify this value by substituting in the place of x.

we. have

 \frac{2}{3}  +  \frac{3}{5}  -  \frac{43}{30}  \\  =  \frac{(20 + 18 - 43)}{30}  \\  = \frac{38 - 43}{30}  \\  =  \frac{ - 5}{30}  \\  =  \frac{ - 1}{6}

Hence verified.

Therefore , the value of x is -43/30.
