Step-by-step explanation:

We have to subtract such a number so we could get 0

First what we have to do is, imagine that you also had a subtracting number that could get the answer 0 let give the number a name ‘y’

Now write the eqation:- -5/4 - y = 0

Now place the value -y at the place of 0

Hence, we get -5/4 = y ( as we the negative sign changes into positive when we place it at the another side of =)

So, after putting the value of ‘y’ in the equation we get:-

-5/4 - (-5/4)

-5/4 + 5/4 (as we know two signs of minus becomes plus and the minus value adding with plus value becomes minus)

So here the positive value cancels the negative value and the answer we get is 0.

Hope it will help you..☺☺
