Let the added be x.

So , according to question,

x + (-5/8) = (-3/2)

so,

x = (-3/2) - (-5/8)

x = (-3/2) + (5/8)

Taking LCM,

x = [ (-3×4) + (5×1) ] / 8

x = (-12 + 5) / 8

.

. . [x = (-7/8)]
