What number should be multiplied to -5/8 to obtain the nearest integer

-5/8=-0.625

-8/5= -1.6

if -5/8 is multiplied with its reciprocal .....we obtain :-

-5/8×-8/5

every thing gets canceled and we require -1/-1 =1

that is; the nearest integer is 1

or

directly multiplying the decimal digits....also gives the same answer ...that is....

-0.625×-1.6

=1

in simple words,

-8/5 it's reciprocal or -1.6 its decimal value should be multiplied to obtain the nearest integer 1.
