Let the number to be subtracted be ‘x’,

 =  > ( -  \frac{3}{5} ) - x = ( - 2) \\  \\  =  >  \frac{( (- 3) - 5x)}{5}  = ( - 2) \\  \\  =  > (( - 3) - 5x) = ( - 2) \times 5 \\  \\ =  >  (( - 3) - 5x) = ( - 10) \\  \\  =  > ( - 5x) = ( - 10) + 3  \\  \\  =  > ( - 5x) = ( - 7) \\  \\  =  > x =  \frac{ - 7}{ - 5}  \\  \\  =  > \green{\boxed{  x =  \frac{7}{5}  \: o r\: 1.4}}
