4(5+n)=(4×5)+(4×3)

20+4n = 20+ 12

4n= 20+12-20

4n = 12

n= 12/4

n= 3

so, 3 should replace "n"

  • Equation→4(5+n)=(4x5)+(4x3)

\huge{\underline{\underline{To\:Find→}}}

The value of n in the given equation.

\huge{\underline{\underline{Answer→}}}

4(5 + n) = (4 \times 5) + (4 \times 3) \\  4(5 + n) = (20) + ( 12) \\  4(5 + n) = 32 \\ (5 + n) =  \frac{32}{4}  \\ (5 + n) = 8 \\ n = 8 - 5 \\ n = 3

So from here, the value of n is 3 which is the required answer.
