Assuming the number to be x

14% of x = 14x/ 100 = 0.14 x

So, it is given that,

x + 0.14 x = 570

1.14 x = 570

x = 570 / 1.14 = 500

So, 500 is the required number

Let the number be x.

14% of x = 14x/100 = 0.14x

x + 0.14x = 570

x = 570/1.14
