Hi friend

Solution -

Let the number be x

Then, according to the question.

x/1 + (x × 15)/100 = 299

x/1 + 3x/20 = 299

Taking LCM of the denominators.

(20x + 3x)/20 =299

23x/20 = 299

23x = 299 × 20

23x = 5980

X = 5980/23

X = 260

Hence, the required number is 260.

Answer.
