SOLAR ECLIPSE

Solar eclipse happens when the moon moves in front of the sun when viewed on earth. When solar eclipse occurs it gets much dimmer outside as the much of the sun is covered by the moon because the moon moves between the sun and earth. The moon blocks out some of the Sun's light casting a shadow on the earth. The sky darkens as the crescent shape of the sun remains in the sky.

Once the sun is fully eclipsed the Sun's corona can be seen shinning in all directions around the sun
