If velocity is doubled, we will observe day and night differently.It will be much shorter.And we won't say that 1 year= 365 days or something like that.

If orbit becomes smaller,( u mean closer to sun),we will experience double heat of sun.And days and nights,years will be much shorter as well.

If Earth escapes the sun,we shall die due to no heat and everything will freeze on Earth including you and me )

If the orbit doesn't change,u know nothing will change.

If it gets more elliptical,we shall simply experience extra days in 1year and more temperature in summer and more cold in winter than usual.cheers)
