Portia comments that he does nothing but frown, just as if to say , "i care little wether you want me or not." He hears good stories without a smile. I fear he will prove a sad philosopher when he is old, since he is full of such unpleasant gloom in his youth. I should rather marry a skeleton with a bone in his mouth .
