The Voynich manuscript is important as the single surviving example of a writing system once used in Egypt, Israel, Italy and the Aegean; a late form of Byblos script.
The manuscript is dated by carbon-14 dating to the early 1400s. I’m certain that this date is correct because some of the illustrations show caricatures of political figures from central Europe of that period.

⭕ Despite the many centuries of frustration nd headaches that the Voynich manuscript has undoubtedly caused, many countries to comb through the text in search of its meaning nd origin. The book currently resides at the Beinecke Library at Yale University. The library has graciously allow scholars nd laypeople to access the text online and investigate it for themselves. While scientific nd historical research on the manuscript is still underway, we can only hope that someday someone will crack the code nd reveal the true nature of Voynich manuscript.
