-Rumpled/Dirty Clothing: Displays a character’s lack of regard or ability to attend to cleanliness. Clothes that don’t fit could display poverty.

-Clean/Pristine Clothing: Shows that a character’s values lie in appearance.

-Hand-me-downs: Could display a sentimental attachment to an object or a lost family member.

2. Mannerisms and Habits:

-Sayings: A character that says “Like” all the time or “Whatever”. Excessive or no use of profanity, stuttering.

-A particular gait: A character that saunters about, or seems to have a bounce in his or her step, or has a limp, a duck walk or pigeon toes.

-Fidgeting: A character that shuffles their feet and looks at the ground, holds eye contact for too long.

-Injuries: A character that has a scar on their face, or is missing a limb due to some life altering trauma.

-Weight: A character who is extremely skinny could have health issues or a lack of means to provide for themselves. An extremely heavy character could half gluttonous habits, or other health problems.
