daniel defoe's 'robinson crusoe' says about a man robinson crusoe whose ia an adventurer and slave trader when shipwrecked on an island crusoe treats the natives not as human beings equal to them but as inferior creatures he then rescues a native and makes him his slave he also names him as friday arrogantly .This behavior however wasn't seen as unacceptable because most of the writers at his time saw colonialism as natural to them colonialism was to civilize the people on the east part of the world who was seen as barbaric or primitive .it was later on the twentieth century the writers like joseph conrad wrote novels that showed the darker side of colonialism
