Democracy is a system of government in which all citizens have the right to vote and there are political parties of different ideals. The citizens elect representatives and the party that gets the majority, will form the government.

Hence it is reasonable to say that everyone gets some kind of representation and voice. It may be in the ruling party or the opposition. Democracy provides equal opportunities for regions and its population. The danger with democracy, if it is left unchecked is that it can be abused.
