Stamens are the male reproductive part of a flower while Carpels are the female reproductive part of a flower.Stamens contains Anther and Filament whereas Carpels contain Stigma,Style, and Ovary.

Transfer of pollengrains from Anther of the Stamen to the Stigma of the carpel helps in reproduction of flowers.
