Collection of number of trees is called forest. Forest are necessary for the living of humans as well as creatures living in the forest. Forests occupy one third present land in the world. 80% of  the world’s terrestrial biodiversity is living in the forests.

If we take out the ratio then there is approximately 75 – 80 per cent of the total population that still lives in the forest.


This will include animal spices and terrestrial plants that are typically found in the tropical forest that are their home.


There are many other terrestrial habitats that are found out in the world.
