Solution :-

The required answer is as follows :-

Personal values dear to the narrator ::

From very beginning of the story 'Ranga's Marriage' we can make it out that the narrator is embibed with good personal qualities. He is filled with social responsibility. As shown in text, he doesn't want Ranga to remain unmarried for life instead he wants him to get married to a gírl like he wants. He never runs behind having mor money or getting rich. He is sticked to the family well being and always cares for others.

Social values dear to the narrator ::

We see that narrator is quite social in his nature. Everyone knows him in the village and trusts him. They even give him company in his plan. Narrator remains sticked to his village. He doesn't popularise western culture but remains always to traditional culture.

Are such people worth living in contemporary world ? ::

Honestly, such people don't deserve to live in contemporary world. The reason is that they can fool anyone for their need. Making two amateur is not at all a good thing. If the couple isn't happy with their life, then even they can't blame the person who made them marry because they didn't knew that the couple was fooled. And let's leave the context of marriage. Such people can make anyone fool for their needs by any method.
