What Photoelectric emission mean?

Photoelectric emission is defined as ejection of loosely bound electron from the surface of metal when a radiation of certain minimum frequency falls on it.

It is importatnt to note that photoelectric emission occurs above threshold frequency.
In order to eject an electron we should provide frequency greater than threshold frequency.

photoelectric emission is a process when the uv rays from sun strike on a metal surface having a certain frequency ,the electrons from the surface of metal get ejected.
