On reading the poem, snake we form a very majestic and a regal impression of the snake. In D H Lawrence's snake, a perfect balance being maintained between man and nature which is quintessential for the continuance of life on this earth the snake is not the creature as it is been portrayed in our society the snake until and unless it is harmed will not harm anybody and will only keep to itself
