After the defeat in the world war-1,Weimar Republic had to pay for the sins of the old empire.The peace treaty at Versailles was so harsh and humiliating.It occupied it's one-tenth of its population,13% of its territories,75% of coal.It demilitarised Germany to weaken it's power.Germany had to pay war compensation amounting to £6 billion.The allied armies occupied it's leading industrial area,called Ruhr.Due to this Economic crisis happened in Germany.The Weimar Republic had many defects.Within 21 days,19 cabinets were changed.So,this political instability pave way to Hitler came to power.
