supreme court is the supreme body of the country.
it has the power to settle down the disputes whether within the sate or country or international
the judge of thecannot be removed from office except by an order of the President passed after an address in each House of Parliament supported by atleast two-thirds of members from both the houses
And the Supreme Court is also empowered to issue advisory rulings on issues referred to it by the president.

It exercises many powers like if a dispute happens between the govt. Of two states then the supreme court acts as an judge or it makes the decision. Courts also helps in implementing the laws made by legislature.
