The Precautious measures are,
1.We must wear a apron while performing an experiment with acids.
2.Wearing googles and covering your head and face completly.
3.Wearing hand gloves.
4.Last but not the least, while diluting acids, acid must be added to water drop by drop.

Explanation:
We can dilute by drinking plenty of water. while diluting an acid ,acid should be dropped. not water because when water is dropped the exothermic reaction takes place and a large amount of heat is released.
