The precautions  may take to reduce the incidents of infectious disease can be as:-

1) The infected person can use mask.

2) The children need to wash their hands after playing and before lunch.

3) Student should not drink contaminated water of infected student.

4) If more intense problem, the infected student may take medical leave.

Acute diseases:-

The disease that occur for a short period of time i.e. one or two days is known as acute disease. For example : ear infection, sore throat.

Chronic Disease:-

The disease that last long for nearly 6-7 months and may even last till death are known as chronic disease. For example :- diabetes, AIDS.

Infectious diseases:-

The diseases that are caused by microorganisms are called infectious diseases. for example:- Tuberculosis, Sleeping Sickness.

Non-Infectious Diseases:-

The diseases which aren't caused by infections are called non - infectious diseases. For example - Heart diseases, arthritis, Diabetes, etc.
