 Precautions:

  • Consume less “bad” fat and more “good” fat.
  • Consume less processed and sugary foods.
  • Eat more servings of vegetables and fruits. ...
  • Eat plenty of dietary fiber.
  • Focus on eating low–glycemic index foods.
  • plenty of fruit and vegetables.
  • plenty of potatoes, bread, rice, pasta and other starchy foods (ideally you should choose wholegrain varieties)
  • some milk and dairy foods.
  • some meat, fish, eggs, beans and other non-dairy sources of protein.
  • just small amounts of food and drinks that are high in fat and sugar.
