Precautions need to take while using laboratory thermometer :
1. It should be held vertical.
2. The bulb lf the thermometer should need to be surrounded by the liquid.
3. The bulb of it need not to touch the base or side walls of the beaker.
4. The reading of tempertaure should be taken without taking out of the liquid.
5. Thermometer should neither be placed in very hot liquid not in ice cold liquid.

1. Thermometer should need to be washed before use.
2. It should need to be hold from top end.
3. If the Mercury level is below 35 degree Celsius then it can be use.
4. If temperature is above 35 degree Celsius before use then bring it down by few shakes.
