Precautions-

(1) The angle of reflection of sound waves should be determined carefully, till the sound heard is the loudest.

(2) No direct sound waves from sourc should reach the listener.

(3) For accurate recording of the angle of incidence/ reflection of sound using the pipes, the centremost part of the pipe should match the line of incident sound wave and hence the same for the reflected sound wave.

(4) The reflecting surface should be smooth.
