What precautions should we take for stop flood

• Seal walls in basements with waterproofing compounds to avoid seepage.

• If a flood is likely in your area, listen to the radio or television for information.

• Know the difference between a flood watch and a flood warning. A watch means flooding is possible. A warning means flooding is occurring or will occur soon.

to stop the flood, there are some precautions :-

1) flood is a natural disaster which can't be control by anyone but while making the cities, urban areas we can took some changes by which flood can be stop.

2) by creating flood plains and overflows area of rivers.

3)by keeping the sewer system clean,by constructing barriers

4) while it is seems to be flooding we should listen radio tv. etc



and the last one is
we should make some sustainable drainage system
