2. Fill all the bottles, baths, buckets, mugs e.t.c if water is restricted from usage during the cyclone.
3. Make sure you have enough food.
4. If you have a basement, stay there during the cyclone with enough water and food supply.
5. If you don't have a basement, stay inside a room without any windows. Preferably the bathroom.
6. Stay away from exterior doors, walls and windows.
7. Plug out all electrical, water and gas supply from your home.
8. Have a plastic bag with you that consists of your phone(if you have one), a water bottle and all other necessities.
9. Keep an first-aid kit ready incase of an accident.
10. Make sure to keep pillows and blankets incase if the cyclone is prolonged.
11. Come out of the shelter only when the radio says that your area is safe.
