\color{cyan}{Answer}

Time = 6 yrs

Rate = 10%

Amount = 900

Let the principal be rupees x

si =  \frac{prt}{100}  \\ si =  \times x10 \times  \frac{6}{100}  \\ si =  \frac{3x}{5}

\color{cyan}{Principle + SI = Amount}

x +  \frac{3x}{5}  = 900 \\ 5x +  \frac{3x}{5}  = 900 \\  \frac{8x}{5}  = 900 \\ 8x = 900 \times 5 \\ x = 900 \times  \frac{5}{8} \\ x =  \frac{1125}{2}  \\ x = rupees \: 562.5
