SOLUTION:-

Given:

⚫Interest= Rs.840

⚫Rate= 21/2%= 10.5%

⚫Time= 3years.

We know that Formula of Simple Interest;

 =  >  \frac{P\times R\times T}{100}

Therefore,

We need find principal then;

 =  > P =  \frac{S.I. \times 100}{R \times T}  \\  \\  =  >  \frac{840 \times 100}{10.5 \times 3}  \\  \\  =  >  \frac{840 \times 100 \times 10}{105 \times 3}  \\  \\  =  >  \frac{8 \times 1000}{3}  \\  \\  =  > Rs.(1000 \times 2.66) \\  \\  =  >P= Rs.2660

Thus,

Principal is Rs.2660.

Hope it helps ☺️
