Thanks for the question!

It is definitely a very interesting question to solve and do some brainstorming.

A general biological microscope comprises of an objective lens, ocular lens, lens tube, stage, and reflector. Its works on the principle that when an object is placed on the stage and magnified with the help of the objective lens,as soon as the target is focused, a magnified image can be easily observed through the ocular lens for a better vision.

The microscope was actually invented by Galileo who named it “Little Eye” but Giovanni Faber finally renamed it as “microscope”.

Microscope was rather discovered than invented and this was done using different lenses at various combinations so that the nearby objects appeared enlarged.

The first microscope was simply a tube with lenses at both the ends.During the 1590's, two Dutch spectacle makers, Zacharias Jansen and his father Hans Jansen started experimenting with these lenses. And their outcome was the resultant compound microscope which is an important laboratory tool today.

Hope it helps and solves your query!!
