what problem an egg-seller bought 20 eggs for ₹ 56 and sold them at ₹ 35 per dozen . find the gain a loss percent.​

Answer:

Cp of 20 eggs = 56

Cp of 1 egg = 56/20 = 2.8

SP of 12 eggs = 35

Sp of 1 egg = 35/12 = 2.92

Profit = SP - cp

= 2.92 - 2.8 = 0.12

Profit% = profit *100/cp

= 0.12 * 100 / 2.8

= 4.28%
