What problem arises in using alitame as artificial sweeteners

Alitame is one of the artificial sweetener so it is the chemical substance which do not add any calories to our body.They get excreted from our body through the urine,but unchanged.However,alitame creates problem while using it, as its an high potency artificial sweetener due to which it is difficult to control the sweetness of food.
