The Industrial Revolution changed the way people lived forever. Hand tools were replaced by machines like the textile mill. It made much working effortless and faster. These machines were put in huge factories. As new technology spread, cities grew. As factory jobs opened, the population increased. The owners of these factories became very wealthy with all the textiles being produced. People believed all this change was good (especially owners) but that was not the case.
