Answer:

There was an issue of maintaining unity within the nation. Apart from that, it faced many problems due to the large size of the country. It was difficult to provide facilities to the deepest parts as the Amazon Jungle, central plateau or the northeast desert. Slavery was a big issue for all American countries.

Answer:

We indians got independence from from British colonial rule. On 15th August 1947 we get rid of British imperialistic government. They almost plaqued india almost 400years.

Coming to the problems Indian facing..

Abolition of titles: means still many of people in india adding their cast at end of their name like Reddy, netha, patel, etc. Meaning they are still discriminating on the grounds of caste.

Reservational provisions: means at the time of constitution framing those provisions are made just to uplift the weaker and deprived sections of the society for temporary period of time but still continues to take away equal opportunities in public employment.

Safety of women: despite of having strict laws and provisions.. violence against women still persistant. As may it by acid attack, gang rapes, illegal women trafficking, slavery, eve teasing etc. After 7 decades of freedom still we unable provide basic rights to women in patriarchal society.

Uneven distribution of Indian wealth: we growing as powerful economy but most of India's wealth concentrated in 10%of people remaining 90%of people are still couldn't able to access their basic amenities.

Negligence toward environment protection: nature gives us so many fruits if and only if respect it. If not we are experiencing the sever climate change conditions. And have to go through so many pandemics like COVID-19.

Distribution of land: when Britishers are ruling most of the land is in the hands of landlords. The immediate goal after independence was re-distribtuon of these land. Government did to some extent but not fully justified it. Being small and marginal farmers they are the most sufferers in prosperous India.

Being Indian I still proud of what india did so far. Every country has prons and cons. I firmly believe india can fix these problems pretty soon.
