Answer:
India is a country struggling with it's exponentially increasing population. Due to larger number of peoples, India has the poor traditional level-wise system of distribution of schemes and services for the poor one. In the different levels of distribution ladder, there is an evil thing, which always avails much opportunity and time to grow. This evil thing is nothing but Corruption. Due to corruptions, the services and schemes of GOI or State Govts never reach the persons these were meant for.
So they(Poor and underprivilaged) never find there rightful share of whatever mother nature is provided to everyone of us. And in the lack of supplies and opportunities(already been eaten by corrupt personals), these poor children faces several problems, most of us can't even imagine. Here is a glimpse—
Hunger and Mal-Nutrition Remember those older days when our mom used to say “Beta ek paratha aur le, tabhi to sharir banega” (Darling, have this another fat dipped bread so that you can be healthy). But there are lots of children in nation, who never got to eat what their body deserved. 19.8 million poor children below age 6 in India are undernourished (ICDS 2015). While, 36% of children under 5 years of age are underweight in India (NFHS 4, 2015-16).
EDUCATION- 1 in 4 children of school-going age is out of school in our country – due to various reasons, 99 million children in total have dropped out of school (Census 2011). Since you are reading this kind of topic on Quora makes you the person who knows the value of education from deep. Due to lack of education most of theese poor children get into illegal activities and drug addiction as well(Remember dun dun guy who got viral).
Child Abuse and Exploitation- “beta kam see kam apne kapde aur joote to sahi se utha kar rakh diya kar”(Dear, at least put your shoe and clothes at appropriate place). This sentence echoed our ear in childhood days. But there are lots of other children in our India, who not just deal with shoe and cloths but they have to wash tea cups, they have to pick the garbage from streets, They have to clean houses and wash cloths, they have to lift bricks and mortar at construction sites. Do yo know, There are 10.13 million child labourers, aged between 5-14 years in India (Census 2011). These children are also soft targets(as no one cares for them) for the peoples with bad intentions. So most of them are abducted and sold to red light areas. Many of them gets raped or at least physically and mentally exploited.
