In the story 'The Fun They Had ' Margie hated the mechanical teacher mainly due to the fact that her teacher was giving her test after test and she had been doing worse and worse.She didn' t liked that way of teaching which is quite evident at the last of the story when she is found in a sorrowful situation by dwelling at the time how their grandfather's grandfather might have taught!
