The problems you'll face if you don't have gliding joints in your body are :
- You won't be able to move your hips and shoulders.
- They are the most movable type of joints in the human body.
- Gliding joints are present between the surfaces of two flat bones which are found together by the ligaments.
- Some of the bones in your wrists and ankles move by gliding against each other , so they even won't move.
- Gliding movements happens as relatively flat bone surfaces move past each other but they produces very little movement of the bones.
- Angular movements are produced when the angle between the bones of a joint changes.
- They include extension, hyperextension, abduction, adduction, and circumduction.
