There will be a huge bad effect on the environment. There will be increase in population of primary consumers. The all top carnivore will die. All the grass and plants will being eaten by the primary consumers and gradually all the grass will be eaten by primary consumers. There will be a great imbalance in the ecosystem and at last there will be no existence of life on this planet.

Answer:

Imbalance in the ecosystem.

Explanation:

  • Food production in the ecosystem mainly depends on the producers, as are the organism that transforms the sunlight into an energy form such as the chemical energy.
  • This chemical energy is used by consumers for the maintenance of the metabolic processes in their body.
  • As well, if there are no producers, then consumers will have no chance to gain back their energy.
  • Hence, the ecosystem without any producer would not survive.
