what process in plant is known as transportation

jawadaakari: Image result for what process in plants as transportation
Plants have two different types of 'transport' tissue. Xylem transports water and solutes from the roots to the leaves, phloem transports food from the leaves to the rest of the plant. Transpiration is the process by which water evaporates from the leaves, which results in more water being drawn up from the roots

Transportation in plant is process in which water molecules are transported through via osmosis!Happens mainly by the help of transpiration like when the water leaves the plant through stomata the new water is sucked by xylem and is used by the plants!
Where translocstion is the process of transfer of food molecules from source to the sink!
Hope you got your answer!
