Wind: Strong wind can erode the rocks. Wind also carries sand particles to different places.

Sun: The sun's rays heat up the rocks and therefore, they expand. During the night, when the rocks are allowed to cool, the contract in various places and this uneveness results in the formation of soil.

Water: Water helps in 2 ways

1. The water fills in the widened gap (refer sun ) and freezes. This widens the gap and cuts the rock into smaller pieces.

2. The running water in rivers or streams wears away rocks over a long period of time and carries the sediment to different places.
